Your new role - Production Worker/Assembler
  • This role will see you working in a large, well-resourced, and orderly warehouse assisting with the assembly of office furniture products.
  • You will receive full training and support from an experienced and fast-growing team, and will spend your working day performing a wide variety of duties.
  • Previous experience is important - this workspace is full of friendly and productive people, and we're specifically looking for someone similar to complement the team.
  • You will start at 7 am Monday to Friday, finishing at 3 pm each afternoon. 
Duties:
  • Working within a team, your role will consist of assembling office furniture involving the following:
  • CNC operation
  • Use of Drop saws
  • Use of Lathes
  • Cutting, Spraying and Gluing and ultimately building a variety of great products.
  • In time, you'll be shown how to cut metal, steel and aluminum
  • If you already possess some of these skills you will hit the ground running, but if not, you'll have the opportunity to learn some great skills within a supportive environment.
  • Exposure to fabrication or assembly is a distinct advantage but not essential.
What do you need:

  • MUST HAVE PRIOR ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE!
  • You will be working in a Buddy system initially
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Experience with drop saws, CNC machines, lathes, drilling and spraying
  • Once confident you will be shown how to cut steel, metal and aluminium and set up the machinery
  • A great attitude to your work with a good track record of attendance in previous roles (this will be verified through reference checks)
  • A current driver's license and own transport (public transport is limited)
  • A forklift license is a bonus but not essential
  • Exposure to fabrication or assembly is essential
  • Any sort of mechanical aptitude
