Assistant Centre Manager/Administrator - Commercial/Retail Real Estate

This role would suit an experienced Assistant Centre Manager/Administrator looking for a change or a polished and professional Senior Administrator, PA or Property Manager who is looking for a long-term growth opportunity.

  
About the Client
Our client is in the Commercial Real Estate industry, with a significant Retail Asset Management division, and has been in business for many years. They are a well-known reputable organisation and are a leader in their field!

They have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Centre Manager/Administrator to join their dynamic, well-established team based in Penrith.

This role requires working on-site at a locally managed shopping centre Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, with one day based at another centre in the Bankstown-Canterbury area. Regular travelling to other shopping centres will also be required as needed.
  
About the Role
Your primary responsibility in this all-rounder role will be to assist and support the busy centre manager with the day-to-day operations, maintenance and smooth running of the shopping centre.

The role includes but is not limited to:
  • Answering phones and assisting where possible, taking messages and forwarding calls to the appropriate person
  • Liaising and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, contractors, solicitors, clients etc
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of all documentation
  • Assisting in processing and preparing applications and other relevant documentation 
  • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting 
  • Risk management and compliance
  • Site inspections
  • Any other general ad-hoc business administration when needed
  • Travel to other centres is required

Our client is looking for the following key skills:
  • Experience within a similar role OR in a Senior Administrator, PA or Property Manager position
  • Experience within the Commercial or Retail Real Estate industry will be highly regarded
  • A Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel
  • A strong and professional communicator, both written and verbal
  • A high level of dedication and self-motivation
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive and driven approach to work
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • A reliable car and a valid driver’s license is a must
