THE ROLE: - Prepare and present fresh meat products
- Weigh, price, and package the cuts
- Ensure signage is attractive and eye-catching
- Maintain general housekeeping duties
- Work with premium gourmet meats and value-added lines
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Follow safe work practices and procedures
- Perform quality inspections
- Adhere to food safety, licensing, and company policies
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE: - Experienced in all facets of butchering
- Proficient in the use of meat grinders, knives and other tools to cut meat into smaller portions
- Knowledgeable and details orientated
- Positive-minded with a willingness to be part of a larger team
- Able to follow instructions with a good work ethic and attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual and reliable
APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING: - Qualified butcher-minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Customer-first mindset and great communication skills with a friendly and helpful disposition
- Self-motivated, proactive and reliable team player
- Must have own transport
