Our Client:Our Client is a global leader in industrial closures, packaging components and accessories for industrial packaging manufacturers and fillers Worldwide. Their products /closure systems are designed to safeguard the environment by ensuring the integrity of the containers.
Due to their continued growth, they are now in need of an experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson for their Penrith facility. Working closely with the Warehouse and Operations teams, they are looking to add someone to the team who is self-motivated and enjoys the day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced environment.
The role is straightforward yet critical and involves the pick packing, forklift operation, and unloading of containers.
We are looking for a flexible team player who can follow instructions and has attention to detail, good communication skills and a great work attitude. The role is ongoing and will become permanent for the right candidate. Training will be provided on business systems and processes.
Duties: - Forklift Driving
- Transport management processes (booking of trucks and management of CHEP pallets) through to system (ERP – Microsoft D365)
- Loading and unloading products
- Completion of paperwork entries to reflect stock movements to support inventory control.
- Loading and Unloading Containers
- Picking, packing and assembly of products
- Put away
- Stock counts
- Stock Takes
Essential Requirements: - Forklift license
- Previous stores/ warehousing experience
- Operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Eye for Detail
- High level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player but able to work autonomously
- Has the ability to understand and follow instructions & procedures while working within a team environment
- Enthusiasm and a desire to take pride in your work
- Willingness to step up and help others, highlight issues and seek
clarification - Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability and flexibility to work overtime when required
