About the Client:
Our Client has been involved in the precast industry for over 20 years, delivering high-quality standard and customised concrete products to clients across NSW and interstate. They are a leading supplier of architectural precast concrete safety barriers, steel bollards, and wheel stops.
Due to an ever-growing increase in demand, they are currently looking to add a reliable and committed pre-cast concrete labourer to their team in Penrith.
You need previous pre-cast concrete experience, however similar experience in different fields i.e. plastic moulding will also be looked upon favourably.
About the role : - Preparation of tools and equipment to complete the tasks
- Build and assemble forms used for precast concrete elements, ensuring they are structurally sound and compliant with design specifications.
- Prepare the frames and forms for the day's work
- Place and secure reinforcement materials in the forms, such as rebar or mesh for extra strength
- Ensure forms are properly aligned, levelled, and braced to prevent movement during the pouring process.
- Monitor the formwork process to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications before pouring concrete.
- To achieve the desired surface texture and appearance, utilize various finishing techniques, such as troweling, polishing, or stamping.
- Inspect finished precast elements for defects, surface irregularities, or other quality issues, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate curing conditions to ensure the strength and durability of precast concrete.
- Keep the production area clean and organised, including equipment and tools.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, guidelines and practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Forklift driving
- This role will suit a can-do person with a strong team player focus and willingness to take direction.

- Physically fit – ability to lift 20+ kg
- Previous pre-cast or concrete experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Ability to work with your hands
- Great communication with the ability to contribute to a positive workplace culture
