About the RoleOur client has an exciting opportunity available within their friendly team that involves the provision of administration support and customer service, primarily over the phone. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Loan Administrator, or someone looking to take the step into an entry-level office-based role with full training and support provided. Our client is happy to train you up but needs to start with a great attitude and phone manner.
Your primary responsibility will be to support a busy finance broker while providing exceptional customer service and helping out in other areas as needed.
Your new role will include: - Collating and gathering documents and personal information for loan applications
- Assisting in settling finance applications
- Arranging meetings on behalf of the Broker
- Providing outstanding customer service and follow-up over the phone and face-to-face
- Data entry
- Packaging finance deals
- Email management
- General administration as needed
About You We're looking for friendly and professional applicants who can work full-time hours (9am - 5pm) five days per week in the Penrith office (includes a Saturday). You may be looking to move from another role into an office job and just need someone to give you the opportunity (and training), or you may already be an experienced Loans Administrator looking for a great team to work with.
Essential Criteria: - A friendly and professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- An excellent telephone manner that customers will love!
- Excellent attention to detail - you will be a detail-oriented person!
- Solid computer skills including the ability to use email (Gmail), spreadsheets, and the Microsoft Office suite
- The ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- The ability to work full-time 9am - 5pm five days a week in the office - including every Saturday, with a day off through the week
The following will be highly regarded but are not essential:
- At least 2 years experience in an administrative support role or telephone-based customer service role
- Previous experience working in a vehicle dealership, broker firm, or finance industry
- A Certificate IV in Finance or equivalent will be a bonus
