The role: You will be responsible for setting up and operating the roll-forming machine and stripping the cores which will also include monitoring and maintaining the operation. You will also be cleaning, conducting quality control, and bundling finished products, in a safety-first environment.
Main Activities: - Follow instructions regarding Production Scheduling from the Production Manager/ Supervisor
- Stripping cores
- Efficient Machine setting including coil changes
- Quality checks of all products
- Making sure all product parts are marked correctly
- Bundling products and moving them to the correct loading area
- Identifying and troubleshooting setup issues and coming up with fixes
Essential Criteria: - MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE
- Current forklift license (LF)
- Purlin Rollforming machine operating experience
- Core stripping or similar experience
- Able to read and understand an SOP (quality, machine setup, etc)
- Able to use measuring equipment (ruler, tape measure, vernier, calliper)
- Able to read simple drawings
- Fit and healthy
- Have an eys for details
- Great clear and concise communication skills
