This role would suit a skilled Administrator with Real Estate experience looking for a step up into the world of Shopping Centre Management with long-term growth opportunities. About the Client Our client is in the Commercial Real Estate industry, with a significant Retail Asset Management division, and has been in business for many years. They are a well-known reputable organisation and are a leader in their field!
They have an exciting opportunity for a Shopping Centre Administrator to join their dynamic, well-established team based in Penrith.
About the Role This role requires working on-site at a shopping centre based in Penrith, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, with the potential of one day based at another centre in the Bankstown-Canterbury area. Regular travelling to other shopping centres may also be required.
Your primary responsibility in this all-rounder role will be to assist and support the busy Centre Manager with the day-to-day administration, operations, maintenance and smooth running of a portfolio of shopping centres, in a fast-paced environment.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Answering phones, and assisting where possible, taking messages and forwarding calls to the appropriate person
- Arranging meetings and associated requirements, including taking and typing minutes
- Liaising and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, contractors, solicitors, clients etc
- Preparing lease offers and lease instructions
- Arrears management
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of all documentation
- Assisting in processing and preparing applications and other relevant documentation
- Assist with budgeting, financial and detailled EOM Landlord reporting
- Risk management and assist with compliance
- Site inspections
- Any other general ad-hoc business administration when needed
- Travel to other centres may be required

Our client is looking for the following key skills:
- Experience within a similar role OR someone with Real Estate experience looking for a step up into the Retail Shopping Centre Management industry
- Experience within the Commercial or Retail Real Estate industry will be highly regarded
- A Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, with the ability to expand skills
- A strong and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- A high level of dedication and self-motivation
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive and driven approach to work and learning, including self-motivated learning
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- A reliable car and a valid driver’s license is a must
